Pastor Sherri Sneed started the Prison Ministry in 1992 even before she began to go to bible school. While Pastor Sneed was in Bible school for 3 years as she commuted up and down the turnpike driving from Tulsa she would stop at Mabel Basset Correction Center twice a week. Her first class started with 7 women. As God began to grow the class, she went from 7 to 32 women. Each time after that God began to lay on her heart to begin to go into other prisons. The Lord opened the door in Mcloud, OK where she started with 12 women and the class grew to over 130 women. Every Friday afternoon they had to move her service from the chapel into the eating hall.

God opened more doors and more opportunities began to open with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and God gave her great favor. What began with a group of 7 women has grown into a full time ministry that reaches both women and men in 12 Oklahoma prison's and jail's. The prison ministry grew so fast, that Pastor Sherri could not do it by herself, and began to set up teams to go in with her.

Pastor Sherri is still apart of the Prison Ministry, but is now working full time as the Sr. Pastor of Zoë Worship Center and President of The Oklahoma City Dream Center. She has passed down the Prison Ministry to Pastor Debi Anderson and Minister Geralon Ore. Pastor Debi Anderson has a class where she teaches and preaches the Word of the Lord. Minister Geralon Ore has started Parenting Classes and has also set up our Zoë Bible Correspondence School for jails and prisons (ZBCS). We have over 100 women and men from many prisons and the OKC County Jail who sign up to receive books and bibles.
